Hello everyone!
Today's post is about something I did a little time ago and I somehow never found the time to post about.
I have a little cupboard where we keep tools and other stuff which we use for house keeping. We recently painted it again and so we covered the old stencils - flowers with leaves in pastel colours.
I wanted to give it a trendier look and bought stencils in a mandala design.
Then, I used chalk paint and a little sponge and this is the outcome.
I find it very appealing and in tune with current trends which echo boho , hippy styles. What do you think?
I also added a lamp in light grey colour and some decorative items and books and I am very pleased with the outcome.
I hope to have given you an idea for your own cupboard transformations!.
Take care and enjoy summer!
My love to all,

Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteI do like your cupboard decorating, very attractive.
Your placing of items is lovely, mine always looks a mess no matter how careful I am trying to keep it tidy.
I have an old dresser Which I have been meaning to upcycle & I bought the chalk paint ages ago. Meanwhile it's full of my wools & patterns but I must get it outside to paint, will keep an eye out for a spell of good weather. Shame I didn't do it earlier, it didn't rain at all in April & May!
Thank you for your comment.
DeleteOne of the things I love doing is up cycling old furniture. It is amazing how lovely they look after a leak of paint and I also love working with chalk paint
I hope you soon get the chance to paint your dresser I'm sure it will look great.
